Groundhog day was not my favorite movie and waking up to do a job I dread was never going to work for me! After college I started out working in Corporate America and realized quickly working for the big guys was going to take forever to climb the ladder. I had worked as a bartender through college and got used to making whatever kind of money I wanted. Now I had someone telling me if I worked really hard I would get a .50 cent raise in a year and I could only have five days off a year. Ouch that really hurt!
I spent the next ten years working as a business development representative in the alcohol industry. While constantly working on my side hustles. Through the 50 or more different side hustles I learned what kind of grit it takes to start your own business and make it work. I started working for myself full time in 2018 as an event/sponsorship consultant. I love helping entrepreneurs/event planners push their businesses to the next level.
When I’m not working, you can find me at a concert, traveling, exploring outside, and hanging with my rad pup Ollie.
Freedom has always been extremely important to me: freedom with my time, to be me, and to accomplish as many things as I want. I’m the kind of person that works with everything that I am.
